In December 2019 China had several cases of an unusual strain of pneumonia in Wuhan, a host to over 11 million people. The Pneumonia was reported to the World Health Organization on 31 December 2019. Consequently, on 30 January, the World Health Organization declared the Corona virus COVID-19 as a pandemic. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, thousands of lives have been infected with many lives lost in China, Italy, USA, Spain, France, German, United Kingdom and Turkey among others.
